Basic rules of entry to Japan
- Air service: open.
- Land communication: open.
- Visa: required.
- Insurance: for entry for tourist purposes, insurance is required, you can apply for it by following the link.
- Vaccination: since 05/08/2023, Japan has canceled PCR tests and vaccination certificates for entry.
Do I need a visa to Japan?
All foreign nationals require a visa to enter Japan. It is currently impossible to obtain a Japanese visa in Ukraine, this can be done at the Embassies or Consulates of Japan in neighboring countries (including Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova). What documents do I need to travel to Japan?
List of documents required to obtain a tourist visa to Japan:
- original passport with expiration date actions for more than 6 months;
- 2 photos of 3.5×4.5cm;
- personal data;
- certificate from the bank in English on the availability of at least $ 2,500 in the balance (with the movement of funds over the past three months).
To obtain a business visa, you must also provide a business trip order from your place of work and an invitation from the Japanese side. When applying for a visa in Warsaw, your presence is not required. You must make an appointment to apply to the consulate in advance. The review period is from 5 to 7 working days, the cost of a visa is $ 170.
